Rules
- 0.4.0 — 1 November 2026. Adds a Swift Concurrency Health Check with source inventory, SwiftSyntax task-site evidence and an app-specific report; reviews ownership, isolation, cancellation and timing per operation; adds guidance on launch signals, immutable snapshots, state ownership and optional remote-data caches.
- 0.3.3 — 29 October 2026. Activates the 17 verified explanation URLs across the eight skills at /cfa/explanation/{slug}; clarifies MainActor ownership for all Features and that separate types and async alone do not move work off the main actor.
- 0.3.2 — 29 October 2026. Defines Features as main-actor owners of business capabilities, replaces Feature-per-tab with capability-based boundaries, bundles the explanation catalogue, and separates Starter Apps from Xcode templates.
- 0.3.1 — 25 October 2026. Adds migration evidence capture, the Habit Tracker and Day Streak templates and Habit Tracker Pro; separates new-app visual defaults from architecture requirements.
- 0.3.0 — 20 October 2026. Delivers eight independent AI skills, the cfa command, and the native CFA App template; adopts the CFA AI Toolkit for iOS display name; names concrete owners *Feature.
- Earlier. 0.2.0-beta.2, 0.2.0-beta.1, 0.1.0-beta.3, 0.1.0-beta.2 and 0.1.0-beta.1 (15 September 2026).
Decision rules
- When a page on this site and the repository disagree, the repository's current main branch is canonical.
- When you install, check the version in CHANGELOG.md.
- When you upgrade the toolkit, re-run the installer; it updates CFA-installed files and refuses to replace edited ones.
Example
The compiled examples on this site were checked with these toolchains:
Compile commands used for this documentation
swiftc -swift-version 6 -warnings-as-errors -typecheck # Swift 6.2
swiftc -swift-version 6 -warnings-as-errors -emit-library # Swift 6.4
Common mistakes
- Assuming a blog post describes the current release; check its date against this page.
- Mixing skill folders from two releases.
